Halloween #2

Halloween at the Moore house was very chaotic this year. They had three parties that day; two neighborhood parties and a birthday party. Plus the trick-or-treating. I went with them to one of the neighborhood parties and then hung out at their house to hand out candy while Randy and Tracey took the kids trick-or-treating. I was exhausted when I got home. Needless to say, the kids were a little bit hyper while I was there. I could barely get Ian and Nicole to pose for pictures in their costumes. Here's what I could get outta them. Ian was a Clone Trooper (Star Wars) and Nicole was Tinkerbell. It was still fun to hang out and enjoy the kids. Can't wait until next year when I get a little trick-or-treater of my own.

Ian the Clone Trooper sans mask.

Nicole flying around as Tinkerbell.

Ian and his pals Brice and Ryan checking out their candy haul.

Too much candy.

The Damned

We had one more event this weekend. The Damned were in town. As some of you know, Bryan is a HUGE fan on the British punk band, The Damned. He met the drummer, Pinch, a few years ago and has helped the band with visas and IRS stuff for their last two American tours. Consequently he gets free tickets and special backstage privleges when they are in town. Bryan took Thursday and Friday off last week so that he and his friend Dave could go to the shows in Orange County and LA. They were in San Diego on Saturday night at the House of Blues. Tony and Shelli were in town and joined us for the festivities. Randy came along too. We had a great time and Randy and Bryan even got to sing with band on stage during "Smash it Up". Our little girl was moving all over the place once the band came on stage. Bryan is very proud that his daughter will be a Damned fan too. Unfortunately I don't have pics because I forgot to take the camera (not to mention the tickets) but here's one of Bryan and I before the show. http://www.officialdamned.com/
