Wow! Time flies. Sammy is almost 7 1/2 months old! And she's changing every day. She has her first tooth as of Wednesday and is working on the second as I write this. Consequently we're a little sleep deprived today. She can sit up on her own from the lying on the floor but has only done it a few times. She can walk along the furniture when I stand her up but hasn't figured out how to pull herself up from the floor. She can stand up when she is sitting in my lap but again, not from the floor. And she can walk when we hold her hands. She even did an army crawl the other day but usually just flips right on over when we put her on her stomach. She's ALMOST made it to a bunch of milestones but not quite. Give it a few more weeks and I'm sure we'll be chasing her all over the place. We also finished two weeks of swim lessons at the YMCA. She loves the water but didn't learn too much. The lessons were really just for her to get used to the water and to interact with the other kids. We'll take more next year and maybe get her to blow some bubbles.

Clapping, her new favorite form of expression.
Cuddling with daddy.
Crawling to mommy.

A few vacation days
Bryan took a couple of three-day weekends in August so we decided to play tourist in our own town. We visited Birch Aquarium and the Wild Animal Park, among other places. So nice to have him home a little more often.
